Behavioural Assessments

ADHD; ADD; ODD; Anxiety; Depression

To save time in your first appointment, please complete the parent referral and background information form below. When you press submit, your information will be confidentially stored in our business practice software.

All face to face sessions will run for 50 minutes, or multiples thereof, to give the clinician time to make case notes, score and interpret assessments and consider further case formulation.

Session 1

This session is for both the parent and child/adolescent. It will focus on the reason for referral, current presentation and deciding on the best assessment to suit your child’s unique needs. Necessary arrangements will be made to provide assessment screeners across both the home and school setting.

Face to face session (50 minutes) - $180

Liaising with school and providing assessment screeners (1 Hour) - $180

Session 2

Depending on the outcome of session 1, this time will be spend with the child/adolescent to conduct a semi-structured interview and self-report. During this time, goals will be discussed and preferred interventions (50 minutes) - $180

Session 3

This session will provide feedback and recommendations to the parent/care-giver and child/adolescent (50 minutes) - $180

Session 4

The clinician will spend this time writing up a report for your child. Depending on the audience for the report, the cost will vary.

  1. Summary report for parent/care-givers with results of assessments and recommendations (1 Hour) - $180

  2. Comprehensive diagnostic report for school (to access special provisions or provide additional support), paediatrician or NDIS. (3 Hours) - $540

    Rebates:

    If your child has a referral from a paediatrician or psychiatrist to assess ADHD, ODD, ADD they may receive a $93.35 rebate from Medicare under their Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders. If your child has a referral from their General Practitioner to assess anxiety and/or depression and has received a Mental Health Treatment Plan they may receive $93.35 rebate from Medicare.

    Some private health funds also give rebates for psychological services.
